Rumanian Government Converts Jewish Community Farms in Transylvania to State Property

Jewish community farms in Transylvania have been taken over by the state, the press service of the Rumanian Government reported here today in a publication of the Legation.

This decision was made as a result of the “popular demand” of Jewish farmers working on the holdings of the Federation of Jewish Communities, the report said.
