Thirty-sight sticks of dynamite were discovered late today on the roof of the five-story building in which the United Lubavitcher Yeshivoth maintains its headquarters in Brooklyn. Police said a 16-year-old boy, who said he and two other youths found the dynamite in New Jersey, admitted hiding the cache on the building roof. Kings County District Attorney Miles F. McDonald warned that the “explosives could have caused an untold number of deaths.”
