Rumanian Immigrants in Israel Urge Immigration Minister to Speed Transfer of Families

Recently-arrived immigrants from Rumania, whose families — including wives and children — have not yet been permitted to leave Rumania, called on Israel Immigration Minister Moshe Shapira today to urge that steps be taken to expedite the transfer of their families to the Jewish state. Minister Shapira promised to make “all-out efforts” in this direction in the near future.
