NEW YORK (Aug. 29)
The graduation of a second group of young administrators and executives of Jewish welfare agencies throughout the country took place today at the Institute on Advanced Studies in Jewish Community Organization of the Training Bureau for Jewish Communal Service.
The graduates completed a 15-month course at the Training Bureau which was founded three years ago by a group of national and local Jewish welfare agencies. The certificates were presented to the graduates by Dr. Kurt Peiser, executive vice-president of the Philadelphia Federation of Jewish Charities, who is chairman of the Board of Governors of the Training Bureau. Speakers at the ceremonies included: Dr. Horace Kallen, Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research, Bernard Pepinsly of Cincinnati, president, and George W. Rabinoff, executive director, of the Training Bureau.
