The United States aspires to a future “in which every individual will be secure in his life and his health, his schooling, his job and his personal liberties,” President Truman said this week-end in a letter congratulating the Aleph Zadik Aleph, boys’ organization of the B’nai B’rith, on its twenty-fifth anniversary.

The President added, “we have demonstrated that a government responsive to the will of its people, in striving toward such goals, enlarges rather than restricts the freedom of the individual.” The letter was directed to Jacob J. Lieberman, chairman of the B’nai B’rith Youth Commission.
