Jewish Community of Utica, N.y., Will Observe Its Centennial Anniversary

The Jewish community of Utica will celebrate its 100th anniversary at a three-day festival some time between now and the end of January, 1950, it was announced by Martin Abelove, president of the Jewish Community Council here.

Rabbi Joshua Kohn, who has been compiling a history of the Utica Jewish community, will make available the results of his research to the centennial celebration. Formation of the House of Jacob congregation here 100 years ago was the first chapter in the history of the local Jewish community.
