Weizmann Receives Commander Goldberg, Highest Ranking Jewish Chaplain in U.S. Navy

President Weizmann today received Commander Joshua L. Goldberg, highest ranking Jewish chaplain in the U.S. Navy and Chief Chaplain of the Third Naval District, who presented him with an Israel flag donated by Jewish personnel in the U.S. Navy. Commander Goldberg was accompanied by American Ambassador James G. McDonald.

Yesterday, the President received Argentine Minister Pablo Manguel, in the presence of Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett. During the lengthy interview at Dr. Weizmann’s home in Rehovoth, Minister Manguel transmitted greetings from President Juan Peron.

Later, Mr. Sharett conferred at his office in Tel Aviv with British Minister Alexander Knox Helm. The subject of their talk was not announced.
