“partial Reports” on Jewish Situation in Iraq Received by State Dept. from Embassy

State Department press officer Michael J. McDermott said today that the State Department has received “partial reports” from the American Embassy in Baghdad on the extent of anti-Jewish actions in Iraq.

Mr. McDermott delined to comment on the specific nature of the findings. He said that the information has not yet been communicated to the Israel Government.
