A delegation of the American Friends of the Alliance Israelite Universelle was introduced today to the Shah of Iran during a reception tendered in his honor by the Iranian Consul General at the Waldorf Astoria. The delegation expressed gratification at the understanding displayed by the Iranian Government towards the educational activities of the Alliance in Iran, where the organization has been maintaining schools for Jewish children for the past 50 years.
