Professor V.B. Lutzki of Moscow University has accused the Israel delegation to the United Nations of subservience to the Anglo-American bloc. He also denounced the Mapai on the ground that it is trying to convert Israel into an “American colony.”
Prof. Lutzki’s statements, which are viewed as an attack on Zionism, were made at a recent session of the Academy of Sciences which was devoted to the Middle East. A report on the meeting has just become available in the monthly publication Economic Questions.
The university educator charged Zionist leaders with being American “agents” and with erecting a “Zionist bourgeois state” in Israel on the basic of United States aid granted under conditions “incompatible with state sovereignty and concealed at the outset even from the Knesset.”
