The Argentine police have halted distribution of some 10,000 copies of the pro-fascist newspaper “Milicia,” organ of the anti-Semitic Movimiento Sindical Nacionalista, which last year carried on anti-Jewish activities in this city and in Santa Fe. Four members of the organization who protested to the police against their seizure of the newspaper, were imprisoned for seven hours by the authorities.

The Jewish Institute of Argentina has established a legal information bureau at which any Jew may obtain legal consultation free of charge, Simon Mirelman, president of the Institute, announced. The bureau will specialize in handling the legal aspect of problems involving immigration and naturalization.
