Frank Goldman of Lowell, Mass., president of B’nai B’rith, last night called for the establishment of a national commission on human rights in the United States, as a step toward safeguarding civil rights and fundamental freedoms. Addressing the 90th anniversary dinner of Rehovoth Lodge of B’nai B’rith, he said: “If we want the protection of human rights, and the fight against violations of human rights to be more than a pious wish, we should do something about it now.”
