The 35th anniversary of the Yiddish-language daily, The Day, was celebrated here yesterday with publication of a special issue containing messages of felicitation from leaders in Jewish life as well as from prominent government officials, including Governor Thomas Dewey of New York and a number of U.S. Senators.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
