Ashes of 30,000 Jews Murdered by Nazis Reburied in Jerusalem with Full Honors

The ashes of 30,000 European Jews who perished at the hands of the Nazis in various concentration camps, which were flown here recently under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion, were reburied today with full military and religious honors in the ancient Sanhedrin cemetery in north Jerusalem. At the same time, remnants of numerous Scrolls of the law destroyed and desecrated in Europe during the war were buried on Mt. Zion today in accordance with Jewish ritual.
