Hithorto unpublished population data on 15 American Jewish communities and on the economic and occupational structure of American Jews is featured in the 1950 American Jewish Year Book, published jointly today by the American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Publication Society of America.
Marking the fifty-first year of publication, the new Year Book summarizes activities of Jewish interest throughout the world for the year 1948-49. Prepared by the A.J.C. under the editorial direction of Morris Fine, the 1950 Year Book has been revised and enlarged and appears in a completely new format.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
