Martin Richards, 32, was fined two pounds yesterday for throwing a bottle “containing a brown liquid” at crowd outside a London motion picture theatre showing the Hollywood film, “Sword in the Desert,” which deals with the British role in Palestine prior to the establishment of Israel.
Police described Richards, a leather worker, as an “ardent Fascist.” Another defendant, John Cook, a 25-year-old painter, was released on bail until March 1 when he will stand trial on charges of “insulting behavior” in front of the theatre.
