British Attend Reception Marking Conclusion of Anglo-israel Financial Talks

Leading officials of the British Foreign Office and the Treasury last night attended a reception in honor of the British and Israel financial delegations. The affair marked the conclusion of talks on the unfreezing of Israel sterling balances held in London.

The reception took place at the Israel legation. The heads of British oil companies as well as outstanding Jewish and non-Jewish personalities were among the guests, who included Sir Stafford Cripps, Sir Willfred Eady, Sir James Crombie, Lord Reading, Lord Samuel and others.
