The election of Judge Joseph M. Proskauer of New York to the board of trustees of Brandeis University was announced here today by George Alpert, chairman of the board. “For many years Judge Proskauer has been a vibrant and vital force in Jewish life in America. We are proud that he has become a member of the board to which his name brings added distinction,” Mr. Alpert said.
