Hungary to Permit 3,000 Jews to Leave for Israel Next Month Under Terms of New Pact

The first 3,000 Jews to be allowed by Hungary to leave that country for Israel under terms of an agreement concluded by the Budapest and Tel Aviv governments thres months ago will leave Hungary for Israel on April 10, the New York Times reported today from Pregus. The dispatch added that the number of Jews allowed to leave would have been greater than 3,000 but the Hungarian authorities included in their figures 20,000 Jews who left the country earlier with-out official permission.
