Nine Americans Are Elected to General Council of World Jewish Congress

Nine Americans were elected to the General Council of the World Jewish Congress, it was announced today by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, acting president of the World Jewish Congross. Those elected are: Prof. Horace Kallen, Judge Justine Wise Polier, Louis Lovine, Prof. Milton Konvitz. Rabbi Morton M. Berman, Max Kopstein. M.J. Slonim, Isider Teitelbaum, and Dr. Max Nussbaum.
