Jews throughout Greece today observed a day of mourning for Greek Jews killed by the Nazis during the occupation of the country. Most of the Jews annihilated by the Nazis lived in Salonika.

The supervisory board of the Foundation for Administering Heirless Jewish Property in Salonika today approved a $35,000 budget for the organization for the first six months of 1950. The major part of this sum is expected to come from rents on property administered by the foundation. Its expenditures will go for the relief of chronically ill and indigent Greek Jews and for the payment of emigration expenses of ORT-trained Jews.
