Thousands Attend Memorial Meeting for Leon Blum in New York; Labor Leaders Pay Homage

A memorial meeting for Leon Blum, former Premier of France, world famous Socialist leader and friend of the Zionist movement, was held here today. It was attended by thousands of Jewish workers. The meeting was arranged by Jewish labor groups.

Among those who spoke at the meeting were: William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor; Philip Murray, president of the C.I.O.; Ambassador Warren Austin, chief U.S. delegate to the United Nations; David Dubinsky, Jacob Potofsky, Abraham Cahan, Alexander Kahn, Adolph Held and other labor leaders.
