Mordecal Dubin, Noted Orthodox Jewish Leader, Released from Soviet Imprisonment

The Soviet Government has released from imprisonent Mordecal Dubin, a leader of the world Agudah movement and former member of the ?atvian Parliament, it was reliably reported here today.

The report was received by the Israel followers of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who recently died in New York. Mr. Dubin, who is himself a follower of the Lubavitcher rebbe, has been imprisoned by the Soviet authorities since the seizure of Latvia by the U.S.S.R. in 1939.
