Sen. Herbert H. Lehman, of New York, tonight reseived the annual award of the Motropolitan Conference of Temple Brotherhoods at a ?eting in Temple Emanu-El here. In accepting the award, Sen. Lehman said: “In a world where an atomic or hydrogen bomb can destroy life and civilization, we must re?vigorate our spiritual values if we are to avert total catastrophe. We here in the United States, of all races and religions, must show the way.”
