Rumania Releases Two Zionist Labor Leaders; They Had Been Imprisoned for Some Time

Two leaders of the Labor Zionist movement who were arrested in Rumania some time ago have now been released, it was reported here today. One of them is A. Dascalu, secretary of the left-wing Hashomer Hatzair, and the other is Zoltan Hirsch, secretary of the Achduth Avoda group.

The report of their release was brought here by one of the 899 immigrants who arrived in Haifa Last night from Rumania. Among the passengers was David Giladi, head of the Passport Division of the Israel Legation in Bucharest, who returned to Israel following the completion of his one-year term of office.
