Governor G. Mennen Williams of Michigan and Mayor Albert E. Cobo of Detroit have proclaimed Sunday, April 30, as Israel Day throughout the city and state, in honor of the second anniversary of the new Jewish state. Gov. Williams will participate in the celebration arranged by the local Zionist Council and the Jewish Community Council.
