The seventh anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising was commemorated here last night at a meeting called by the World Jewish Congress and the Federation of Polish Jews and attended by leading representatives of the major Jewish organizations in Britain.
Among the speakers were: Sidney S. Silverman, M.P., who presided; Dr. Abraham Cohen, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews; Joseph Rosenzaft, chairman of the Liberated Jews of the British zone of Germany; and, Eliezer Yapou, representing the Israel consulate.
