An authoritative source said today that the establishment of normal diplomatic relations between Greece and Israel will follow the settlement of “certain outstanding questions between Greece and the Arab states concerning the status of Greek minorities in those countries.” The first move, it was indicated, will be the extension by Greece of de jure recognition to the Jewish state and the immediate appointment of an Ambassador to Tel Aviv.
