Plans for the manufacture of jet fighter planes in Egypt were revealed here yesterday by the British de Havilland aircraft company.

In a financial advertisement in the New York Times, the company revealed that Egypt is one of six nations outside Britain with which negotiations had been completed for the local manufacture of the British Vampire plane. The advertisement also listed Egypt among 12 countries which have purchased Vampire jets during the past year. It commented that “considerable sales” had been made to most of the 12 countries.
