Israel is experiencing a labor shortage despite its record immigration, Mrs. Golda Myerson; Israel Labor Minister, declared this weekend in a statement issued ly the United Jewish Appeal.
Mrs. Myerson, who arrived in this country last Friday to aid the U.J.A. campaign, will address the U.J.A. conference in Chicago which will be held from June 8 to 11. Mrs. Myerson said that the “one of our biggest problems today is to find temporary housing at new settlement points or new industrial areas for the workers that are needed to keep our production machine at maximum effectiveness.”
