Dr. Schwabe Elected Rector of Hebrew University; Dr. Silberg is Supreme Court Member

Dr. Moshe Schwabe, professor of Classical Languages, was today elected rector of the Hebrew University for the next two years.

The appointment of Dr. Moshe Silberg as a justice of the Israel Supreme Court was yesterday ratified by Parliament. Dr. Silberg becomes the seventh member of the high court bench.

The board of directors of the Jewish National Fund today elected Dr. Abraham Granot, world president, to represent the J.N.F. in the new coordinating body between the Israel Government and the Jewish Agency.
