Trade talks between Israel and Turkey, which were recently interrupted, have been resumed, it was reported here today. It is expected that a formal commercial agreement between the two nations will be signed within a week.

According to an agreement “in principle” already reached, commercial relations between the Jewish state and Turkey will be based initially on a “clearance” arrangement which will later be followed by unrestricted free trade. Moshe Bartur heads the Israel delegation.
