The rabbinate of Tel Aviv has disowned 70-year-old Bulgarian Rabbi Daniel Zion who has been preaching the acceptance of Jesus as one of the Jewish prophets as well as the acceptance of the New Testament as the proper sequence to the Bible, it was revealed here today by Tel Aviv Sephardic Chief Rabbi A. Toledano.

The Chief Rabbi said that the rabbinate reached the conclusion that the former Bulgarian rabbi has lost control of his mental faculties and is no longer able to conduct traditional Jewish worship. The rabbinate arrived at this conclusion after extensive investigations, Chief Rabbi Toledano said.
