Establishment of the Bruce R. Mayper Memorial Award to be presented annually to a Brandeis University undergraduate for promotion of inter-racial amity was announced by the University here today. The award for the year 1949-50 was presented to Lois Spiro, of Fall River, Mass., president of the Brandeis Newman Club, an organization of Catholic students.
