Gerald L.k. Smith Attacks Jews at Los Angeles Meeting; Cites Chicago Tribune Slander

The charge that Jews are running the United States was voiced here by Gerald L.K. Smith, leader of the anti-Semitic Christian Nationalist Crusade, addressing a meeting of about 1,500 persons here.

He also mentioned the article published recently by the Chicago Tribune against Henry Morgenthau, Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter and Senator Herbert Lehman but failed to say that the editors fo the paper apologized to representatives of Jewish organizations for the anti-Jewish insinuations which the article contained.
