Australian Jewry will not be represented at the Maccabiah games in Israel next month, it was revealed today in a report submitted to the Executive Council of Australian Jewry by the Associated Judean Athletic Clubs. The report said the “heavy expenditures involved” and the short time available made it impossible to send a representative team to Israel.
