Word was received here today of anti-Jewish disorders on the island of Djerba, off the eastern coast of Tunisia. According to the information, Arab mobs attacked Jewish pedestrians in the streets. A Jewish delegation appealed to the Arab elders of the island to intervene, but the latter reportedly approved the mob action.
