World Jewish Congress Opposes Re-establishment of German Jewish Communities, Leader Says

The World Jewish Congress opposes the re-establishment of German Jewish communities and will review the question of the affiliation of German communities and central committees of displaced persons in Germany at the next meeting of the W.J.C. General Council, it was announced here today by Dr. Leon Kubowitzki, chairman of the General Council.

Dr. Kubowitzki made the announcement at a press conference following the conclusion of the meeting of the World Jewish Consultative Council for France, a body just organized here this past week-end.
