General George C. Marshall, Secretary of Defense, will be the guest of honor and principal speaker at the 76th birthday tribute to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of Israel, on the third anniversary of the United Nations declaration in favor of the creation of a Jewish state, November 29, at the Waldorf Astoria, it was announced here today.
The meeting is sponscred by the American Committee for the Hebrew University, Weizmann Institute of Science, and Technion, organized early this year as a central body to enlist support in the United States for Israel’s three institutions of higher learning. Albert Einstein is president of the Committee.
