A group of 716 Rumanian Jewish immigrants arrived here today aboard the Transylvania.
The party was smaller by serveral hundred persons than the groups which have been arriving aboard the same vessel for the last few months. The reasons for it is that the winter season in the Eastern Mediterranean has begun and it is no longer comfortable for passengers to be accommodated on the decks. A party of Hashomer Hatzair members was among the 716.
