The Palestine Economic Corporation today announced that it is completing preparations for the celebration of its 25th anniversary as a pioneer company in building Israel. The celebration will be held in January, the announcement said.
In a statement issued by Robert Szold, chairman of the P.E.C. board, it was emphasized that “Israel’s existence as a state today is due in all overwhelming measure to the faith of private pioneer capital in the ideal of the Jewish National Homeland and in the pioneer human beings who built it.” The statement depicted the role which the Palestine Economic Corporation played in the development of Palestine.
