Religion offers the only solution to the problems of the world today, according to Dr. Nelson Glueck, head of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, in a statement made here.
“Never before in all history,” said Dr. Glueck, “has there been a time when we more desperately require for ourselves and for our children the support and guidance of the word of God than we do today. Under Judaism’s tenets man treats man as an individual with dignity, decency, and with right, and by seeing to it that he is neither oppressed nor oppressor.
