The local office of the Jewish Agency will closed be next month and its present functions assumed by the Argentine Zionist Central Council, it was announced today.
This action is being taken in accordance with the decision of the last plenary session of the Jewish Agency. The Argentine Zionist Central Council includes all Zionist political groups in the country. It is headed by Dr. Mateo Goldstein, president of the Zionist Federation.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
