Canadian Jews Send Material to Israel Valued at $250,000; More to Go This Month

Goods valued at approximately $250,000 have in the last three months been sent to Israel for distribution to the various settlements and institutions, according to J.A. Klein, national chairman of the “Material for Israel” Campaign. The committee also expects to ship $50,000 worth of material this month.

In addition to clothing, the committee has sent a variety of other materials to Israel, including nails, DDT, shoes, lumber, medical supplies, surgical and dental instruments, sewing machines and other items urgently needed by the Jewish state.
