The Israel Parliament today adopted a Constitutional amendment providing for the appointment of Deputy Ministers.
During a discussion in the Knesset, Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett revealed that immediately after the explosion of a bomb in a Baghdad synagogue, as a result of which a number of Jews were wounded, Israel envoys in London and Washington informed the Iraqi Government that Israel would hold it responsible for the safety of the Iraqi Jews.
