Sen. Homer Ferguson of Michigan has gone on record as being prepared to support the efforts of Israel to admit Jews from any country.

In an address at the Detroit Economic Club and at a meeting with a committee of Detroit Zionists, Sen. Ferguson said he considers it vital that Jews from Moslem countries and from Eastern Europe be given an opportunity to settle in Israel. He added that he will cooperate with Sen. Irving M. Ives of New York and others seeking means of extending financial aid to Israel.
