Prof. Raphael Lemkin, expert on international law and “father” of the Genocide convention, was one of 28 world personalities nominated today by the Norwegian Nobel Institute for the 1951 Nobel Peace Prize. Prof. Lemkin, who is Jewish, is attached to Yale University.
