Secretary of State Dean Acheson was asked today by the Jewish labor Committee to give his full support to Israel’s reparations claims from Germany.
Emphasizing that the organization speaks in the name of 500,000 members, the Jewish Labor Committee, in a telegram to Secretary Ache son, said: “We urge that the Government of the United States exercise its full authority and influence to the and that the elementary obligation of the German Government toward its former citizens who were so brutally persecuted be properly and promptly discharged.”
