President Miguel Aleman received Moises A. Toff, Israel’s Ambassador Extraordinary for Latin American countries and discussed with him various questions concerning Mexican-Israel relations. Present at the audience was Adolfo Fastlicht, Israel’s Honorary Consul in Mexico.

The two Israel diplomats were also received by Archbishop Luis Maria Martinez, head of the Catholic Church in Mexico, and by the municipality. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Toff said he brought a message of friendship from the Israel Government to the people of Mexico. The two nations, he said, had a common bond of fighting for liberty.
