Israel Cabinet Seeks Passage of Bill on Equality for Women by Outgoing Parliament

The Israel Cabinet, at its meeting last night, decided to call one more session of the old Parliament in an attempt to get a second ###ading and final passage of the government-supported bill guaranteeing full equality for women. The session may take place next week.After a four-month interval, the Coordination Committee of the Israel Government and the Jewish Agency met today under the chairmanship of Premier David Ben Gurion and discussed the needs and the future of immigration absorption. It was resorted at the meeting that 128,000 immigrants entered Israel between January and July. The committee decided to improve sanitation conditions in the immigrant camps ###d to increase medical aid to the newcomers.
